Business Adivce from The Abraham Group

The Sun Never Sees a Shadow

“An interesting, theoretical observation: ‘The sun never sees a shadow.’ That’s because the sun stands still and the planets revolve around it. The most successful business people don’t stand still and constantly look at their business problems and opportunities from one static angle – they revolve 360° around a business – they see the shadows and what’s hidden in those shadows. They find the new solutions and get meaningful, life-changing results that their competition never will.

But obviously, there’s much more to learn and much more to be achieved. I can make the job easier, faster and far more enriching for you if you’re interested in my personal assistance.”

Fascinating Article in Forbes Names Louisiana America's New Business Frontier

In the recent Forbes’ article “America’s New Frontier For Business Opportunity,”Adriana Lopez discusses the remarkable growth of Louisiana’s economy during the last few years.

Lopez suggests that the success of the state is due largely to the fact that Louisiana took an aggressive approach at the onset of the recession in 2008, whereas most states pulled back.

Governmental reforms, such as Governor Jindal's reduction of state and local tax burdens, contributed to Louisiana's attractiveness to businesses.

Economic development efforts also played a major role in the economy’s growth. For example, the creation of Louisiana FastStart, a program that “designs comprehensive, customized workforce solutions to eligible companies that are either expanding or new to Louisiana.”
